On 1-3 September 2008, DANCORE will host an international YPEP seminar on Marine Invasive Species at the Brorfelde Observatory which is situated in the central part of Zealand, Denmark.

The seminar, which is aimed at young researchers and professionals, will focus on Danish and other European researchers’ experience with invasive species both within flora and fauna. Cases, both within and outside Europe, will be presented focussing on the dissemination of knowledge and networking of young researchers and professionals.

We have almost found all the speakers we need, but if you know of any specialists on marine invasive species within your national networks who might be interested in
giving a lecture at the seminar, then he or she can contact coordinator Karen Edelvang at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it . The travel expenses and stay at Brorfelde of all speakers
will be reimbursed by DANCORE.
